Growing up, I was an active person participating in many group and individual sports that included figure skating and softball. In University I joined the rowing team and discovered the benefits of strength training. Since then I have been consistently strength training while running and doing triathlons.
Even while pregnant with my first child, I maintained a high fitness level. Over a period of four months, I combined healthy eating with strength training and cardio activity to burn off the last 10 pounds of "babyfat". By following a healthy eating and active program since then, I have maintained my pre pregnancy weight.
I am now the mother of two andstill maintain an active lifestyle that includes my children.
